We support all individuals, couples, or families in need of counselling in the whole Comox Valley and beyond: Courtney, Comox, Cumberland, Campbell River and beyond.
Our counselling takes place in person or virtually.

*Sessions can also be booked as a walk-and-talk. Please discuss with your therapist
You may want to inquire if your benefit plan covers the cost of counselling with a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). If not, you may also be able to write off therapy sessions under your medical expenses on your tax return, or with alternative funding sources like Autism Funding.
Location at Haven Therapeutics
Portage Counselling recognizes the interconnectedness of the mind, heart, and body in responding to distress and engaging in the healing process. We acknowledge that talk therapy cannot address all aspects of this for an individual. Our desire is to integrate the mind and heart therapeutic work we do alongside understanding what may arise for you while engaging in any body-focused work you do.
This is why we are pleased to offer our in-person counselling sessions at the Haven Therapeutics location in Courtenay. This location allows a team approach for individuals who receive services here to also integrate their therapeutic treatment in a synchronized way.
We want to honour the interconnectedness in the healing work you are doing and support the convenience of having all of this within the same space. There is no obligation to utilize all services at this location; we want what is best for you and your healing.
